Application Guide

Prepare the bamboo by ensuring it is dry, clean, stable, and free from grease, dust, algae, mould, loose fibres, or previous surface contamination. Treat mould or algae first with a suitable cleaner, rinse thoroughly, and allow the bamboo to dry before coating.

Stir well before and during use. Apply evenly along the bamboo grain with a quality synthetic brush or applicator. For fully restored bamboo, apply 3 coats, allowing around 2 hours between coats. Avoid use in strong midday sun, extreme heat, or when rain is likely within 24 hours.

• No. It can also be used on exterior bamboo cladding ,rattan furniture, willow baskets, woven decor, and bamboo-wood product surfaces
• Does it change the colour?
• Recommendation is clear, so it preserves the natural look while enhancing the grain.
• How many coats are recommended? 
• Apply three coats on fully restored bamboo.
• How often should I maintain it?
• Reapply one coat recommended about every two years, depending on exposure.
• Can I use it in wet weather?
• No. Apply only when the surface is dry and rain is not expected for 24 hours.
• When can I recoat?
